Typical JEE Main Cycle
- Session 1 (January) – Registration usually opens in previous November/December. Exam in January.
- Session 2 (April) – Registration after Session 1 results. Exam in April.
- Results of each session released within ~10–15 days.
- Best of the two sessions is considered for ranking and Advanced eligibility.
